Michael Meese is a retired U.S. Army brigadier general who was Professor and Department Head of the Department of Social Sciences at West Point from 2005 until 2013[1]

Background

He is the son of deep state actor Edwin Meese[2].

Career

He was an army officer for 32 years, ending as Professor and Department Head of the Department of Social Sciences at West Point from 2005 until 2013.[1]

Meese was a member of Donald Trump's presidential transition team, a group of advisors tasked with recommending presidential appointments for the incoming administration.[3].

From 2013 he was the chief operating officer and secretary of the American Armed Forces Mutual Aid Association (AAFMAA).[1]
