Think-tank for the largest insurance companies. The association might be "the policy-coordination point for the ultra-Malthusian Club of Rome International".

The Geneva Association (or International Association for the Study of Insurance Economics), the world's leading think-tank on economic and risk issues concerning the insurance industry, just as important as banking.

Club of Rome

According to a 1985 Executive Intelligence Review exposé, the "this association groups directors, chairmen of the board, chief economists, and so on, of the powerhouse insurance-company giants. According to a highly reliable source , the association is the policy-coordination point for the ultra-Malthusian Club of Rome International, via the association's secretary general, Orio Giarini".[1]

Club of Rome member Walter R. Stahel, is also Vice Secretary General and director of risk management research of the Geneva Association.[2]
