North Macedonia is a country which borders Kosovo to the northwest, Serbia to the north, Bulgaria to the east, Greece to the south, and Albania to the west.

History

Formerly part of Yugoslavia.

Country renamed in February 2019.

Joined NATO on 27 March 2020.

In 2018 Foreign Minister Nikola Dimitrov admitted to being a CIA-asset.[1]

New COVID restrictions from 1 September 2021.[2]
