Robert S. Strauss was a US deep[citation needed] politician.

Career

Robert Strauss assisted with Lyndon Johnson’s first congressional campaign in 1937.

Strauss recommended former Senator Howard Baker as White House Chief of Staff. Although Ronald Reagan was visibly annoyed with Strauss's suggestions, a few days later, Donald Regan submitted his resignation, and the President appointed Baker to replace him.

Strauss spoke at the 1992 Bilderberg on Soviet Union: The View From Moscow.
