His December 2019 LinkedIn profile stated:

I am a foreign and defense policy research analyst with experience in the various analytic centers and research institutes as well as project development and management, research, and writing. Plan to stay focused on international affairs with emphasis on Alliance Politics in Eurasia, national and regional security, defence policy, energy and on risk assessment. My areas of expertise include: Russia's neighborhood policy; CSTO, NATO strategies, the European Union Eastern Neighbourhood Policy, Black Sea security issues, the South Caucasus & Central Asia energy security and political risks & foresight.[1]

Activities

Eduard Abrahamyan co-founded the Armenian Council for Cooperation with NATO.[1]

As of 2019, Eduard Abrahamyan was working on a PhD entitled Stages and Motives of NATO Strategy Evolution and Adaptation in the Black Sea region (2004-2016). His supervisor, Robert Dover, Associate Professor in Intelligence and Security at Leicester University, was also a member of the Institute for Statecraft.
