David Ray Griffin (born 1939) is a retired professor of philosophy of religion and theology. Along with John B. Cobb, Jr., he founded the Center for Process Studies in 1973, a research center of Claremont School of Theology which seeks to promote the common good by means of the relational approach found in process thought.[1]

9/11

Griffin has published a number of books on the subject of the September 11 attacks. They present a compelling case for the attacks being to outcome of a conspiracy by elements of the United States government.

An article in the Washington Post on 7 September 2006 which focuses on Dr Griffin and his work, is among the more thoughtful examples of how the MSM began to deal with the The 911 Truth Movement once it began to gain real traction.[2]

Criticism by Daniel Hopsicker

Daniel Hopsicker has written ungenerously about David Ray Griffin, describing him as "a retired professor of theology at a conservative bible college in California who had nothing to say, but said it anyway, in book after book after book... But that of course, was the point. They accomplished nothing. But they made the half-baked “official story” of the 9/11 attack sound almost reasonable."[3]
